You don't have to split your spaghetti in order to fit it to pot. Leave as it is, let them to stay into the boiing water for half lenghts. When bits get soften, you can insert it into the water all along its length by pushing up with your hands.

A major problem faced by boiling pasta is the overflow of boiling water. If you put a bit of butter or a few teaspoons of vegetable oil into pasta in boiling water, it can prevent the overflow of water in the pot and make pasta look brighter.

Cook the sauce when pasta is being boiled and pour over the pasta immediately after filtered. Don not also cook pasta sauce together again.

You may have difficulty when heating the pasta sauce you prepared with extra care. For example, pasta could be damaged in the bottom of the pot or bottom of the pot could be cold whilist upper part of the pot is warm. When cooking pasta, throw salt to boiling water, because pasta loves salt. You have to put the salt after the water is boiled. Dispose of all the pasta at the same time after the salt is melted in the water. You can squeeze a lemon instead of salt if you are on a salt diet.

If you want to make a sauce for your pasta to be cooked in a short time, a broad-based open pan or a small pot; for slow cooked sauce, use higher edge and bottom-large skillet or saucepan. High edge slows down the evaporation, while the bottom part prevents the sticking of the sauce at long cooking times.

After you drain the pasta, you must have a sizable hole serving dish to mix thoroughly with the sauce. At this stage, speed is important. As soon as pasta is drained, should be mixed with sauce. If you waited pasta in pasta strainer, then pasta is stuck together. Sauce should be infected with each of pasta thoroughly but pasta should not be swimming in the sauce.

You can put half of cup of milk into cooking water of pasta to increase the taste.

If you want to intensify the flavor of the pasta; instead of fatty sauces, vegetables, cheese, olives and yogurt sauces you can choose.

If you want to enhance the flavor of your pasta; you can put two onions, carrots and vegetables etc. into boiling water. If you do not like the taste of vegetables in pasta; you can put a little of water of meat or bouillon tablets into cooking water.

If you don't have breaded flour at home, you can use semolina instead of breaded flour for fish and chicken fries.

You can use the semolina as a thickener in you soups. You can create new flavors to your baby by using more semolina in making baby soup.
 
Storage Suggestion

Selva as a plain pasta could be kept in the fridge and storage container for 2-3 days. It is impossible to keep the pasta which has been sauced for this much time. Therefore, instead of putting sauce to all pasta, putting less sauce which is enough for you and keep the rest of the pasta ans sauce separetely is better.

If you are making a pasta with sauce, you can shorten the boil time for 1 minute. Because with the temperature of the sauce, the pasta will cook some more

Do not throw salt in pasta boiling water without it is boiled. If you throw, boiling process will be delayed. You can add salt when the water starting the bubble and after you can put the pasta.

Do not cover the pot cover when the pasta being boiled. In this case, your pot could overflow.

When your pasta is about to be boiled, get you filter ready in the sink. While you drain, start pouring hot water around filter so the filter will be warm enough for the hot pasta. It is important filter to remain moistly in order to prevent pasta to dry.
